Summer Cruising with the Family!
We started our summer with a family cruise, what a great way to reconnect with all the kids … the 2 older girls just finished their first year of college and life sure gets busy with 4 teenagers!
All four of my children have been so supportive of thrifting and helping with modeling for many of the 30 television segments that Jen and I “Too Cheap Blondes” have done this past year on ABC, Stretch your Dollar, Houston Check this out!, FOX, Livewell Network Mirror/Mirror and Deals.
Most of the clothes they wore during our vacation, they picked out at a thrift store and it sure does help the budget!
I have met people who are ashamed about thrift store shopping, I am so proud that the kids have learned not only the value of a dollar, creating their own style and by supporting Goodwill they are helping to create jobs in our local community.
Everyone in their Hawaiian shirts that we purchased at Goodwill for $5.99.
It wasn’t planned that they all would be wearing thrifted clothes.
You can see they are always having so much fun together.
All the clothes except the long navy dress and Max’s shorts were purchased at Goodwill.
You can see from the pictures that it was very, very, very windy. Hair was flying everywhere!
